The main purpose of the Prizes is to recognize the student(s) enrolled in a Bachelor of Law or Bachelor of Laws (Honours) who have obtained the highest marks in each of the two streams in the study of the compulsory Jurisprudence course (LAW 316).

Eligibility for Scholarships at the University of Auckland

Applicants must meet the following criteria

• Student(s) enrolled in a Bachelor of Law or Bachelor of Laws (Honours) who have obtained the highest marks in each of the two streams in the study of the compulsory Jurisprudence course (LAW 316).

Value of Scholarship

• The Richmond Chambers Prizes in Jurisprudence 2020 will be of the value of NZD 1000 each. Additionally, the University will award the Prizes to the full-time students achieving the highest marks in each stream of LAW 316 (Jurisprudence).

Furthermore, the University of Auckland Council will award the prize upon the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Law.
