Description
The university offer a number of scholarships for our applicants joining our undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programs. Also, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications can apply. Please note – you must hold an offer to a full-time degree program starting in the 2021/22 academic year before your scholarship application will be considered.

- Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible to apply.
Applications are now being accepted and completed application forms should be submitted as early as possible. In order to be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time course in the 2021/22 academic year. Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
Offered Benefits
- If you’re applying for an undergraduate degree program, you’ll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 10% reduction of your tuition fees for each year of study. Your first year’s scholarship will typically be £2,185.
- Also, if you’re applying for a postgraduate taught degree program, you’ll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your tuition fees, which will typically be £3,280.*
- Additionally, we also have a limited number of Dean’s International Excellence Awards for our postgraduate taught applicants.
- Applicants need to only submit one application and will be considered for all levels of postgraduate taught scholarships.
- Likewise, if you’re applying for postgraduate research degree program, you’ll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your tuition fees for each year of study. Postgraduate research degree applicants can apply year round for the scholarships.
- Moreover, if you are studying a two year MSc program, you will receive a 15% scholarship for your first year only. The amount varies for selected programs with a different tuition fee, including programs within Architecture & Biomedical Engineering.
