Application open for Sport Scholarship 2022. The scholarship is offered for Bachelors and Master’s degree. The scholarship is provided by Bournemouth University.

The BU Sport Scholarship is available to high-level sporting athletes coming to study at either undergraduate or postgraduate level at BU. The scholarship is designed to provide you with the funding you need to develop your sporting abilities and take them to the next level.

Scholarships are reviewed on a regular basis and the university reserves the right to withdraw, amend or introduce new scholarships at any time. Scholarships are offered subject to funding and availability. Scholarship is awarded in your first year only, unless stated otherwise.

Value of sports scholarship 2022

• The recipients of sports scholarship will receive for up to £5,000 of funding and towards coaching, equipment, competition entry fees, travel expenses or/or support services.

Eligibility for Sports Scholarship 2022

To be eligible for sports scholarship 2022, applicants should:

• be high-level sporting athletes
• apply for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course delivered at BU
• Be a high performing sportsperson and
• have the desire to continue to develop in the sporting arena,
• desire to develop academically as well
• expected to be a part of Regional, National or International squad and should compete at that level.
•  will have to attend our trial process and be assessed by our coach.

Application Deadline

For courses starting in September 2022 and January 2023. Scholarships cannot be deferred.

31 August if your course starts in September and 30 November if your course starts in January.
