The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University calls application for Fellowship Program.
The Radcliffe Fellowship Program awards 50 fellowships each academic year. Applicants may apply as individuals or in a group of two to three people working on the same project. The program seek diversity along many dimensions, including discipline, career stage, race and ethnicity, country of origin, gender and sexual orientation, and ideological perspective. Although our fellows come from many different backgrounds, they are united by their demonstrated excellence, collegiality, and creativity.
Radcliffe Institute fellows are in residence for a period of nine months from September 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022 and receive a stipend of $78,000 plus an additional $5,000 to cover project expenses. Fellows are expected to be free of their regular commitments so that they may fully devote themselves to the work outlined in their proposal.
As this is a residential fellowship, fellows are expected to reside in the Greater Boston area for the duration of their fellowship. Fellows may be eligible to receive additional funds for moving expenses, childcare, and housing to aid them in making a smooth transition. Healthcare options will be available if necessary. Through a generous founding gift from Edward O. Wilson, Faculty-Curator Emeritus and University Research Professor Emeritus, and with support from additional donors, the Museum of Comparative Zoology (MCZ) at Harvard University has established the E.O. Wilson Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Basically, this program supports postdoctoral researchers at MCZ to pursue the discovery and formal taxonomic description of Earth’s animal species.
Fellows of Edward O. Wilson Biodiversity Postdoctoral Fellowship will work under the supervision of one or more MCZ faculty-curators, who will provide office space, access to lab facilities, and necessary research support. In addition to that, the program aims to achieve broad taxonomic coverage and is not restricted to any particular taxon. At this time, the selection of fellows will give priority to candidates who work on living species.

The Getty Research Institute offers two residential Postdoctoral Fellowships, made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). These fellowships are funded by the NEH and are part of the Getty’s annual scholar and fellow program.
