This scholarship is provided by Union For International Cancer Control (UICC). The value of scholarship is up to US $3,400.

The UICC Fellowships program support individuals from all over the world, and from all areas of cancer control. Over 4,000 fellowships have been awarded to date.

99% of Fellows would recommend going on a UICC fellowship, with 84% reporting that the skills and knowledge gained during their fellowship had a positive impact on cancer patients.

Objectives                   

• Facilitate the international exchange and development of technical knowledge and skills in all areas of cancer control
• Build capacity of the individual and the home organization through the effective application and dissemination of the newly acquired skills in the home organization upon return
• Support the development of networks of cancer control professionals for the continued sharing of best practices and knowledge, and the informal provision of ongoing support, guidance or training

• At least an MD degree (for doctors) or RN (for nurses) can also apply
