Are you a storyteller who has worked with 360 videos, augmented, virtual, or mixed reality? Are you interested in using immersive technologies to tell your African story? Apply for the Africa No Filter (ANF) Future Africa Grant 2022: Telling Stories, Building Worlds.

Africa No Filter, in partnership with Electric South, Imisi 3D, and Meta, invites Extended Reality Creators to apply for grants to support the production and development of new content. In a bid to support a thriving XR Ecosystem, Africa No Filter will be commissioning work that uses immersive technology to tell exciting stories about Africa. Grantees will be supported with ongoing mentorship and production support by Electric South and will also have the opportunity to showcase their projects in a virtual or in-person showcase.

• The winners are awarded  $30,000.

Eligibility Required for ANF Future Africa Grant

• Firstly, Applicant must be at least 18 years old;
• Secondly, Must be living on the continent and be of African descent;
• Must have previous experience with XR content creation and at least 1 completed XR project;
• Additionally, Must have a portfolio of work accessible online;
• The proposed project is completed within 6 months;
• Applicants must be available on the dates below if selected.
• Lastly, Eligible projects include 360 videos, virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality.
