The University of the West of England, UWE Bristol provides scholarships for postgraduate students seeking to study MBA in the UK. It is a public research university in Bristol, England. Several campuses in the Great Bristol make up the university. Frenchay Campus is the largest campus in terms of student numbers as most of its courses are based there. As per the University of the West of England Scholarships schemes, UWE MBA scholarships are tuition fee waiver payable towards the tuition fee of successful candidates. Moreover, the scholarship carries the value of 50% waiver in the tuition fee.

Eligibility

• have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st or 2:1 in an undergraduate degree
• In order to apply for any UWE Bristol scholarships, you must receive an offer to study at UWE Bristol
• hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition
• have at least three years of organization exposure (ie paid job, internship, entrepreneurial practice, work in the family business)
• be a new student to UWE Bristol with no previous UK study
• be classed as overseas for fees purposes
• not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award
• provide official transcripts at the time of application.

How To Apply

Applicants are eligible for the UWE MBA Scholarships if they have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st or 2:1 in an undergraduate degree. Eligible applicants may apply for the scholarships via the University of the West of England online portal.

While submitting for the scholarship, applicants must submit all the required documents. Also, they should submit a scholarship statement. Applicants should address the following issues in their statement:

1. Why you consider the MBA, and not another programme, will help you in your future professional development?
2. How the Bristol MBA will contribute to the business sector/industry of your expertise or the entrepreneurial endeavors you are involved in or going to be involved in?
3. In which way you imagine yourself contributing to the Bristol MBA community during and after graduation?

Applicants should clearly indicate the statement is for MBA scholarship purposes. Further, applicants must save the document as a “Personal Statement for MBA (Full-time) Scholarship“.

If you accept the scholarship, you will need to pay your £3,000 deposit to UWE Bristol within a week of receiving your scholarship offer letter. You will also have to prove that you satisfy the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fees.

Deadline

Applicants may apply for the University of the West of England UWE MBA Scholarships by no later than May 26, 2019. Applicants wishing to study an MBA in the UK are ineligible for the scholarships should the application arrive after the deadline.
