Application call for Visiting Research Fellowship at Southern Illinois University
The National Corn to Ethanol Research Center is seeking an eligible candidate for the Visiting Research Fellowship Program. Graduates of the Research Fellowship Program will be qualified to work in the biofuels, pharmaceuticals, refining, brewing, and chemical companies. Originally funded through an appropriation from the State of Illinois to NCERC at SIUE, the Fellowship program is intended to provide training and hands-on experience to prepare the next generation of engineers and scientists for work in mid- to high- skill jobs in the bioeconomy.
The Fellow will provide specialized skills and knowledge to be applied to research projects, including contractual, grant-funded, and self-initiated projects at the Center. The Fellow will gain experience through hands-on assignments in the following categories:
