Research Internship is available at Washington State University. The primary responsibilities of the Research Intern position are working with faculty scientists to support the design of experiments and performing, analyzing, and recording experiments addressing determinants of disease transmission. The full-time temporary Research Intern will perform the following non-inclusive list of tasks: Perform complex investigative procedures; modifies procedures to accomplish research goals; collect, process and analyze data; run research protocols; assist in preparing manuscripts for journals or presentations for conferences.
Duties are performed under the supervision and are routine in nature. Duties may include but are not limited to: Working with laboratory equipment, computers, assisting in experiments, and preparing media and solutions.
Prospective interns for the research at Washington State University Internship must require to have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent related field experience performing professional-level work with scientific or clinical research protocols. Any combination of relevant education and experience may substitute the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
