Applications are open for Kectil Youth Leadership Program 2020. The Kectil Program is a web-based program that grooms youth leaders in Science, Business, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Public Service. “Kectil” refers to the “Knowles Educational and Charitable Trust for International Leadership”. The goal of this program is to nurture, network, and mentor youth in developing countries who have the potential to be leaders and make a positive difference in their communities, countries and the world.
The Kectil Program will select fifteen of the most active participants in the Web-based Program and reward them with special awards. Further, the selectees will receive a personal introduction to a leadership mentor in a developed country in the participant’s general area of interest. Additionally, the Kectil Website will highlight the name of each selectee as an honor for their leading participation.
To be eligible for the Kectil Leadership Program, the candidates’ profile must align with Kectil’s requirements which includes:
Eligible candidates can apply for the Kectil Youth Leadership program by completing and submitting the online application form. Moreover, the candidates should provide personal information as well as information regarding their secondary and tertiary(if applicable) education. Further, the candidates should also answer the short answer questions with 100 words or less per question.
Candidates should, however, note that the Kectil Program will not tolerate plagiarized answers.
The deadline to apply for the web-based Kectil Youth Leadership Program is until 31 October 2019. However, applications arriving after the deadline are ineligible for the program.
