The Mo Ibrahim Foundation in association with SOAS and the Centre of African Studies-University of London is organizing a one-week fully funded Residential School on the topic of ‘Governance and Development in Africa’. This initiative aims to contribute to as well as stimulate debate on governance, development, and the relationship between them. Each year, the foundation selects participants from a range of African countries, and representative of the academic, civil society and government sectors for the residential school.
The residential school is for 20 participants who are policymakers, academics, researchers or civil society representatives from any African country who will gain, through this training, new ideas and knowledge on the broad issue of governance and development. The foundation invites applications from a wide range of backgrounds
Mo Ibrahim Foundation will cover all the cost of the candidates selected for the fully funded Residential School program. These costs include airfare, visa costs, accommodation, as well as meal.
