Offering more than 100 certificate, associate and bachelor’s degree programs, Daytona State College (DSC) has responded to the education and workforce training needs in our region for more than 60 years. Also, the college enrolls nearly 25,000 students annually at its seven instructional sites, with graduates serving in critical fields including health care, emergency services, business, education, hospitality, engineering, technology and more.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide direct, in-person technical and curriculum support to faculty on the College’s Learning Management System (LMS) and other instructional applications.
• Also, coordinate training events, schedule appointments and assist in the day-to-day operation of the Faculty Innovation Center.
• Likewise, work directly with faculty, supporting their instructional technology and curriculum needs, including providing individual assistance to faculty on performing specific tasks with various instructional software packages.
• Collects data on assessments, student learning outcome mastery, department productions and usage, user experience and interactions, trouble tickets and projects.
• Additionally, assist Faculty in producing video and multimedia content.
• Provides LMS oversight, system planning and policy and procedure development; serves as liaison between Online Studies and Instructional Resources and/or the Information Technology department.
• Furthermore, attends or conducts staff meetings to exchange information; attends professional seminars or conferences to improve professional skills or assist with programs.

Required Qualifications:  

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a graduate certificate in Instructional Design along with three (3) years of related experience. Also, applicants who will complete a Master’s degree in Instructional Design within the first year of employment.
