Position Summary:

The successful applicant will have education and related professional experience to teach a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses (i.e., classroom management, differentiation, general curriculum and instruction, developmental theories, and introduction to the elementary education major) incorporating the latest strategies and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree with an emphasis in education prior to faculty appointment is required.
• Furthermore, five or more years of successful elementary school teaching experience. The candidate must have experience as an elementary classroom teacher in an accredited school.
• Also, training in research-based approaches to teach education course related to elementary curriculum, instruction, and assessment

Preferred Qualifications:

The incumbent must meet the following for Vacancy for Assistant Professor in the USA:

• Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in an elementary education or related degree
• Likewise, experience teaching elementary education majors at the graduate and undergraduate level
• Also, experience supervising preservice teachers during student teaching semesters
