Job Description:
The Assistant Director for Program and Theme Houses in Residential Life is responsible for assisting in the administration and management of one of three major programmatic residential areas (approximately 1800 students) within Residential Life. Also, this position collaborates with other Campus Life and University departments to provide programs and services, to develop and implement efforts within a student development framework, and to respond to student emergencies. Similarly, serves as the deputy and direct resource to the Director of Program and Theme Houses.
Job Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred,
- Furthermore, five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience, preferably in higher education administrative project and program management.
- Likewise, experience in the development and implementation of living-learning environments is preferred.
- Also, experience developing programs and initiatives that are responsive to the needs of a diverse student population including students from historically underrepresented groups.
