The Africa Fact-Checking Fellowship aims to follow up and build on the success of the alumni fellows. The overall objective is to create a critical mass of fact-checkers, information warriors, online and offline hate speech, and digital rights defenders based in the three northern regions of Cameroon.
The three-month program will equip fellows with the skills and tools to address the current challenges of fake news in their countries of operation.
This fellowship is based on a blended learning model that uses webinars, practical lessons, peer-to-peer learning, and hands-on fieldwork.
