Special Conditions for Public Safety Ambassador Position 

Ability to work variable shifts, including: evenings; nights; weekends; and holidays. As a condition of employment, must successfully complete an extensive background investigation. Likewise, required to successfully complete an FBI fingerprinting process and maintain the successful completion of an FBI fingerprinting process throughout employment. Also, successfully complete the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety basic certification within initial six months of employment and maintain certification throughout employment.

Furthermore, final candidate subject to background check. As a federal contractor, UC Irvine is required to use E-Verify to confirm the work status of individuals assigned to perform substantial work under certain federal contracts/subcontracts.
