Position Summary

The Barowsky School of Business is seeking part-time instructors to teach courses in the undergraduate program during the spring semester (January-May) in 2021. Each course is about 15 weeks. Class sections are scheduled to be taught on Thursdays at 6:00-8:00 pm January 21-May 6, 2021. Additionally, the University may teach this course synchronous online or as a hybrid course in synchronous online instruction with in-person, on-campus synchronous class meetings. Instruction mode will depend on University guidelines.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will do the following duties

• Teach a half unit course at undergraduate level
• Likewise, evaluate and grade student work and provide feedback to students
• Moreover, mentor and advise students on the progress of their projects and coursework
• Additionally, uphold academic performance standards and integrity

The incumbent must meet the given criteria

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree with significant business and/or professional experience related to this field.
• Experience mentoring and advising business school undergraduate and graduate students in career development, interview skills, resume building, networking, and internships.
• An expanded network of potential employers and community partners.
• Currently pursuing or completed leadership professional development education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience successfully recruiting undergraduate and graduate students for a business school.
• Also, experience as an academic advisor for business school students.
• Likewise, experience as an Integrative Coach and teaching Life Skills courses.
• Additionally, previous experience guest teaching this course
• Also, proven success in placing students in post-graduation jobs
