Essential Job Duties:

The incumbent must meet the following for vacancy for Assistant Professor in the USA:

• The School of Public and International Affairs, Department of Political Science, is accepting applications for the non-tenure track position of Teaching Assistant Professor (full-time) to teach courses in Comparative Politics/ and International Relations at the undergraduate level.

• Also, the applicant hire will have a 4-4 teaching load, with some teaching in person for our undergraduate political science program. Additionally, some courses for online delivery for our Leadership in the Public Sector degree completion program.

• Likewise, the professional track faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation. Furthermore, evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. Similarly, some service will be expected, as well as attending committee, department, and school meetings as appropriate.

Minimum Experience/Education:

• Requires doctor’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to excellence in teaching is expected.
• Also, excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience in Political Science at the college level, and demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence.
