Job Title: Associate Director, Events and On Campus

Position Summary

Responsible for coordination and management of all on-and off-campus as well as virtual activities with prospective students and their families. Recruit, train and manage team of: On-campus Counselor, Student Ambassadors, Alumni Ambassadors and faculty reviewers. Coordinate the staffing of all campus tours for prospective students. The Associate Director will travel to all areas as needed to assist in the recruitment and enrollment of students.

Duties

The incumbent will have the following duties

  1. Assist in the implementation of the undergraduate & graduate recruitment plan by managing virtual and on-campus activities.
  2. Likewise, interview, train and supervise: On-campus Counselor and Student Ambassador work force of 50 work-study employees.
  3. Also, the director develops and manages all (50+) on-campus and online recruitment events in relationship to applicants and admitted students.
  4. Manage on-going Admissions projects related but not limited to: interviewing, training, supervising and assigning tasks to Alumni Ambassadors including assigning college fairs and faculty reviewers.
  5. Also, develops and oversees execution of campus visit program including but not limited to all scheduled tours, information sessions and portfolio reviews for prospective families and large groups.
  6. Furthermore, collaborate and work with Associate Director of Transfer Students and International Admission around on and off campus event planning, virtual programming and staffing needs and liaise with other student affairs and academic departments as necessary.
  7. Counsels prospective and admitted students and parents about undergraduate admissions.
  8. Also, attend all Admission Office sponsored events as assigned.

Qualifications

The Associate Director must meet the given criteria for the job

The incumbent must have Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or equivalent; MFA preferred. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills. He/she must have minimally three years of higher education and event management experience; admissions experience strongly preferred. Likewise, extensive evening and weekend work, travel and valid driver’s license are also required.
