  • Furthermore, this individual will supervise at least one center staff member.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will do the following duties

  • In cooperation with the center director, the center manager facilitates the appointment of annual international and domestic visitors.
  • Specifically, this individual coordinates with the Office of Dean of the Faculty, the Graduate School.
  • Also, as needed, with other campus offices and with the visitors’ home institutions on all details for their visits to and appointments at Princeton.
  • Additionally, he/she should manage the paperwork for the appointments.
  • Also, visas and other immigration documentation.
  • Furthermore, travel assistance; housing; and initiation to the Princeton campus and to PIIRS.
  • Also, he/she oversees all aspects of a speakers’ series and 2 to 3 conferences annually.

Qualifications

The incumbent should meet the following requirements for the Vacancy for Center Manager at Princeton University in the USA

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree
  • Additionally, minimum or 1 to 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in higher education
  • Similarly, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively in a wide variety of campus offices
  • Also, detail-oriented, organized, and flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Moreover, exercise good judgment, particularly with confidential information
  • Ability to develop facility with the University financial systems (Prime and Concur) and attend periodic training, as required
  • In addition to that, he/she should have strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Drupal, Blackboard, e-reserves, and other programs.
