Position Summary

Works independently to provide essential support to the JCTO and research community. This role is responsible for tracking contract negotiations performs by the Clinical Research Contracts group of the JCTO and recording the progress of the negotiations in the Weill Research Gateway (WRG).  Also, this role is also responsible for facilitating communications with the investigators and study teams, developing process, providing education and training on contract-related processes and is responsible for the intake of new contracts into the Clinical Research Contracts group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages contract intake process for all contracts coming through the Joint Clinical Trials Office (JCTO).
  • Also, troubleshoots and triages agreements incorrectly routed to ensure negotiation by the appropriate central office.
  • Oversees listserv communications and ensures escalated items are prioritized and resolved.
  • Likewise, oversees contract negotiation communications performed by Contracts Specialists, assessing the current status of a contract based on these communications, and manages the contract lifecycle within the Weill Research Gateway software.
  • Additionally, establishes standardized investigator and study team orientation and training related to contracting process for study action.
  • Implements investigator and study team orientation related to newly defined contracting process.
  • Moreover, performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

  • Approximately 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Also, experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Also, ability to establish collaborative working relationships and in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Likewise, to multi-task while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
