This Coordinator, Clinical Education– Cardiovascular Technology, position reports directly to the Program Director and is an excellent opportunity within the College’s Cardiovascular Technology program. Duties:
- Maintains Regular Attendance
- Also, assists with the establishment of policies and procedures governing selection and progression of students through the program.
- Additionally, assists with the drafting of promotional materials used to attract students into the program.
- Moreover, assembling and compiling all materials required for accreditation of the program.
- Likewise, assists in disseminating the above information to the appropriate recipients at the College and outside the College.
- However, assist with all aspects of the selection process for the limited access program.
- Assists with the evaluation of students’ readiness for entry into the profession.
Requirements
The incumbent must fulfill the given requirements
Required Skills:
- Requires ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a wide variety of individuals within and outside the department, and frequently with students, faculty and staff of the College. Significant consultation is expected for problems requiring judgment.
- Likewise, relevant cardiac catheterization experience.
- Ability to work cooperatively with college personnel.
- Also, excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential.
Required Education:
- Associate degree in appropriate healthcare field plus 2 years work experience in field
- Moreover, must hold current Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) credential for Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Likewise, must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
Preferred Education:
- Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelors Degree in a health-related field.
- Also, a minimum of 2 years relevant invasive cardiac catheterization experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Relevant educational and/or business industry experience
- Teaching experience within the health science specialties
