Job Summary

Pedago is looking for a Content Developer to create courses for adults at the Master’s level. The new Content Developer’s first project will focus on MBA topics such as strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This is a full-time, remote position.

Furthermore, in this role, you will create courses as part of the Quantic School of Business and Technology offerings, starting with strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, this role involves breaking down complex concepts into their fundamental pieces and weaving them into clever, engaging educational lessons that are easily understood and digested for use in the real world.

Essential Functions:

  • Research, design, and create short, witty educational lessons breaking difficult concepts into bite-sized chunks.
  • Also, write, edit, and review content or supervise others who do this work, all while taking ownership of the work to ensure high-quality product output.
  • Likewise, work closely with subject matter experts and other team members to ensure the accuracy of the lessons produced.

Other Duties

  • Pair with team members to give and receive constructive criticism and feedback to improve the content and increase skill set.
  • Likewise, the candidate will plan, develop, and design course outlines.
  • Frequently participate in identifying reputable sources for content creation for assigned courses.
  • Also, he/she will occasionally participate in and contribute to prioritization planning for future content development.
  • Additionally, during the writing and editing process, verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.
  • Also, when reading copy or proofing, detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
  • On occasion, work directly with Product leadership and our expert team of developers to propose suggested improvements to the Quantic School of Business and Technology suite of products.
  • Similarly, the incumbent will serve as a content expert in meetings with high-level corporate clientele when needed.
  • Consistently meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Also, excellent communication skills, imagination, and enthusiasm
  • Strong analytical writing skills
  • Additionally, the ability to read, research, and master new subject areas
  • Similarly, strong editing and proofreading skills, and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Also, the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust quickly to shifting priorities
  • Moreover, the incumbent must have the authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Experience designing or delivering curriculum related to business topics
  • 3+ years writing and copy editing experience
  • Hands-on experience with G Suite, Photoshop, Sketch, or other publishing tools
