Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Furthermore, four years of related experience in instructional design
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to apply instructional design theories, principles, best practices, and trends to the design and development of digitally-enhanced courses in a higher education setting
- Also, ability to create content using instructional technologies that scaffold the digital learning environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects while working independently and in a team environment
- Likewise, knowledge of Canvas Learning Management Systems and a robust suite of instructional technologies that comprise a contemporary digital learning environment
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Additionally, ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Excellent editing, writing and communication skills
- Furthermore, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Preferred Education and Experience:
The incumbent must meet the following for Vacancy for Instructional Designer in the USA:
- Experience creating digitally-enhanced content through the use of audio, video, graphics, simulations, and games
- Also, Master’s degree
- Experience in the advanced involvement in supporting accessibility within a contemporary digital learning environment
- Likewise, Project experience applying accessibility standards to face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning assets
- Experience in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) practices
- Furthermore, experience creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
