Job Description

The Department of Romance Languages at Binghamton University is seeking to hire a lecturer in Spanish, beginning in August 2020. This is a full-time position of three years with possible renewal. Additionally, the teaching load is three courses for one semester and four for the other. Competitive salary with the option to teach online during winter and summer breaks for additional compensation.

Requirements

• Candidates should hold an MA or Ph.D. in Spanish (or be ABD) and be prepared to successfully teach language courses at all levels of the curriculum.
• Additionally, experts in all fields are welcome to apply.
• Also, the University will give preference to candidates with strong evidence of excellence in language teaching at the university level.
• Likewise, applicants must have native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
