Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Residency and Fellowship programs within the department.
  • Collect information and complete annual ACGME ADS updates of program information, resident, and faculty updates
  • Develop and prepare annual program evaluations for the GME office.
  • Prepare/Manage-Residency Program Annual Budget.
  • Manage and train new/existing staff in the roles of Residency Program Coordinator and Clerkship Program Coordinator.
  • Meet with employees on a bi-weekly monthly, quarterly basis to ensure proper protocols are being met, along with all assigned duties.
  • Also, conduct Annual Reviews
  • Coordinate and advise on the accreditation process and institutional requirements.
  • Manage applicant ranking system and enter data into ERAS.
  • Develop and submit reports to FREIDA
  • Lead the preparation and submission of the LCME report to the College.
  • Manage all recruitment activities, resident events, orientation and graduation.
  • In addition, develop and maintain a detailed timeline
  • Manage QGenda, a Banner Resident/Physician scheduling system.
  • Provide administrative support to Faculty, Residency program director, as well assist with administrative duties
  • Coordinate the logistics during interview season
