Job Duties:

• The Learning Technologies Implementation and Support (LTIS) team is accepting applications for a Technology Support Analyst.
• Additionally, the Technology Support Analyst will lead the administration of and provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for ECU’s enterprise lecture capture system for instruction and other learning technologies as assigned. Support will be provided through the ITCS ticketing system, phone, email, as well as virtual and in-person consultations.
• Likewise, the Technology Support Analyst will stay abreast of system updates and new features, and research and report on trends to help improve lecture capture/video management offerings. The person in this position will collaborate with internal team members and distributed IT from academic and administrative units across the organization.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the lecture capture system/video management system and ensure proper integration with learning management system(s).
• Also, provide technical support related to lecture capture for learning management system(s), video recording, web conferencing, and other collaboration tools.
• Moreover, monitor and communicate software updates, test new features, and research trends in lecture capture/video management.
• Provide quality consulting including best practices and solutions for success when using the lecture capture/video management system.
• Similarly, support and train Classroom Technology team members working with faculty recording in-class lectures.
• Collaborate with team to develop user education and technical documentation.
• Develop and deliver lecture capture/video management presentations and training sessions.
• Likewise, recommend methods to improve quality and processes.
• Additionally, stay abreast of initiatives, and trends within the scope of expertise to offer ideas, guidance, and recommendations.
• Furthermore, assist and provide support for Learning Technologies Implementation and Support operational projects.

Minimum Education/Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role;
• Additionally, a Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role;
• or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Journey level requires an additional one year of experience.
