Job Description

This position will be responsible for planning, designing as well as tracking the performance of assigned kitchen equipment to ensure that it meets the needs of McDonald’s concerning performance, quality, capacity, system fit and life cycle costs.

Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation projects to enable growth and improved restaurant profitability through:

1. Increased capacity
2. Operations simplification
3. Improved food experience
4. Reduced cost of ownership

• Lead and effectively work within cross-functional teams, both internal and external
• Anticipate and identify customer needs
• Also, understand the key business fundamentals and operations of the restaurants
• Translate customer needs to design specifications
• Manage the development process ensuring timely completion within budget
• Test and release equipment that meets customer expectations
• Anticipate the impact of equipment programs within the system and develop programs to minimize field issues
• In addition, convey McDonald’s expectations for quality, manufacturing, and overall equipment performance to suppliers
• Create as well as manage planned actions, key milestones, and travel and project budgets
• Balance project workload to maximize progress against key deliverables
