Additionally, input into the elaboration of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the UNOPS-ZPIU, in consultation with the direct supervisor and office management.

Builds professional relationships with local media representatives to enhance the dissemination of UNOPS-ZPIU news and information updates.
Additionally, the candidate assists in positioning UNOPS-ZPIU as a thought leader and a credible source of information.
Likewise, he/she liaises with Technical Agencies and Implementing Partners to gather high-quality content from operations including beneficiary interviews, photos, videos, etc.
Creates a range of information, education, and communication materials for public dissemination.
Furthermore, the incumbent ensures proper cataloging of content on a shared drive for easy retrieval.
Qualifications for Media Associate Vacancy at UNOPS in Zimbabwe
Completion of Secondary education.
Additionally, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or other relevant discipline is an asset.
Also, 6 years’ experience in online content publishing and copywriting.
Likewise, experience in media and public relations.
Furthermore, experience in drafting and editing skills in English and Shona is an added advantage;
Also, optimizing website content and the use of graphic design software is an advantage.
Furthermore, he/she must have fluency in written and oral English.
Knowledge of Shona Language is an advantage.
Knowledge of another official UNOPS language is an asset.
