Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized police training school
- Negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Also, ability to read and utilize maps
- Ability to perform first aid
- Likewise, regular, active police service experience
- Very good oral and written English communication skills
- Moreover, knowledge of International Police Standards and human rights
Mandatory:
- Proven experience as a police trainer including evidence of supervisory training and the management of training;
- Similarly, sound knowledge of adult learning and teaching techniques and conducting training needs analysis;
- Professional ability to design, monitor, co-ordinate and implement training strategies, plans and curricula for the police;
- Also, proven experience in project management (planning, designing, budgeting, management, evaluation);
- Professional researching, analyzing, drafting, editing, report writing and presentation skills;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and within limited time frames;
- Likewise, professional fluency in English including excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a member of a team, with people of different national, cultural and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views while maintaining impartiality and objectivity;
- Moreover, professional ability to operate Windows applications, including word processing and e-mail.
Duties:
- Providing subject matter expertise and assistance to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kosovo Police in the process of analysis of existing and drafting of new relevant capacity building related documents, strategies and action plans;
- Also, overseeing, monitoring, analyzing and evaluating all aspects of training development related to advanced police and forensic curricula, ensuring high quality of instruction and human right compliance of all material;
- Additionally, arranging the design and delivery of new programs (internally or externally sourced); Assisting in the co-ordination of donor efforts to support activities and initiatives;
- Moreover, drafting project documents, performance reports and thematic reports upon request
