Project Overview

 

  • The goal of USAID- Health Sector Resiliency Project is to support the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) to foster a strengthened, reformed, and increasingly self-reliant Afghan health system prepared for the deceased donor support anticipated over the coming decade.
  • Additionally, the HSR Project acts as a resource and a catalyst to the MoPH and other GIRoA entities as it considers and implements critical sector-wide reforms that are required to make the system more resilient and sustainable.
  • Also, the Project is a five-year project that primarily focuses on improving governance, health finance and human resources for health and engages both the public and private components of the health sector.
  • Furthermore, Palladium International, LLC, in collaboration with Future Group Global Outreach (FGGO) implements HSR.
  • Moreover, consultants will work in coordination with HSR technical staff to complete a range of projects on an as-needed basis.
  • This may include substantive- and copy-editing of technical products including posters, presentations, reports, briefs, curricula, manuals/guides, and other materials.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will do the following duties as an Editor

  • Editing on an as-needed basis.
  • Also, Experienced editor
  • Attention to detail
  • Furthermore, experience editing technical documents preferred—particularly in the areas of global health, health research, and/or international development
  • Collaboration with HSR project delivery and technical staff to receive projects and conduct up to three rounds of review via email
  • Additionally, the ability to work efficiently under short deadlines
  • Also, he/she should have the ability to work remotely and coordinate with HSR staff by email, phone, and Skype
