Qualifications

• College degree in Sociology, Developmental Management, Community Development, Social Work and/or other related social sciences courses
• Also, the incumbent has technical capacity or experience in Education in Emergencies
• Also, very good human relations and supervisory knowledge and skills
• Additionally, well-developed communication skills, both in written and verbal forms in order to establish effective relationships with a wide range of audiences, including at a geographical distance
• Ability to think and act fast
• Also, high flexibility
• Strong sense of urgency and work ethic.
• Furthermore, can tolerate working under ambiguous circumstances and sometimes difficult situations
• Also, he/she understands and believes in Save the Children’s Policy.

Duties

The incumbent will do the following duties

• He/she will engage in regular coordination and consultation with the Team Leader and the respective HOOs in Iligan, Cotabato City; NCR, and Visayas.
• Additionally, he/she will provide technical inputs during planning, implementation, and completion of the project; monitor the implementation and progress of project activities; and ensure timely completion of deliverables based on Save the Children’s tools and standards.
• Also, the Project Coordinator is responsible for engaging with the relevant regional ministries especially the DepEd/MBHTE and its relevant units and divisions implementing the Big Bad Boo program.
• Furthermore, the Project Coordinator will also collaborate with relevant local CSOs or People Organizations and Local Government Units and relevant government agencies.
