The Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) / Financing for Sustainable Development Office (FSDO) internship is for two months with an opportunity for extension, pending on the needs of the department.
Responsibilities
The position is located in the Policy Analysis and Development Branch of the Financing for Sustainable Development Office (FSDO) in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
- Assistance in drafting and preparing the Financing for Sustainable Development Report of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Financing for Development and its online annex (https://developmentfinance.un.org), as well as other official documents
- Also, attending and summarizing conferences and meetings
- Additionally, assistance during conferences with logistical and administrative arrangements
- Additionally, economic research
- Likewise, compiling statistics and data analysis

- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written English for the Internship Program.
- Also, knowledge of an additional official UN language is an asset.
