There is a diverse range of University of Technology Sydney scholarships for international students, in addition to government and other externally-funded scholarships for study at UTS. Research scholarships are also available at the university. These scholarships cover part of the student’s tuition fee, book, and living allowance and provide students with a stipend.

UTS scholarship for international students supports high achieving commencing international students enrolling in a postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney.

Value & Benefit

• Number of Recipients:
  • Up to two (2), new recipients will obtain the scholarship annually in 2019 and 2020. One (1) recipient will obtain the UTS scholarships each in the Autumn and Spring intakes of 2019 and 2020.
• Benefit/s to Recipient:
  • UTS will pay each Recipient the UTS tuition fees for the approved Master degree course for the duration of the Scholarship.
  • However, The Scholarship cannot be transferred, deferred or redeemed for cash.
• Payment of benefit/s:
  • Moreover, Scholars will receive the payment directly to their UTS fees account for each teaching session for the duration of the Scholarship.
  • Also, Payments are subject to the Recipient satisfying ongoing eligibility criteria.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must:

• be an international student at the time of application
• Likewise, meet all admission requirements for the selected course; and
• Further, commence full-time studies on campus; and
• have completed a Bachelor degree, comparable to an Australian Bachelor degree, no longer than three (3) years prior to commencing at UTS and be admitted based on this qualification to UTS; and
• have an overall average of 90% where the pass mark is 50% or equivalent in a UTS recognized Bachelor qualification; and
• Moreover, all applicants must apply using the online tool for the University of Technology Sydney Scholarships Application form to be eligible.

NOTE: Students enrolling in a UTS transnational program are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
