Moreover, The Association brings together more than 20 young professionals from more than 20 African countries. Also,  collaborates with several partners in Ghana and Africa. Further, Association 3535, the organizer is launching a call for applications for its Africa 35.35 Awards. It is to honor thirty-five exceptional talents under the age of thirty-five:

• start-up founders,
• innovators,
• researchers and artists,
• social activists or
• corporate executives;

bringing together an ambitious young guard who represent the African leaders of tomorrow.

Furthermore, The Africa 3535 Youth Awards a not-for-profit initiative to recognize youth excellence in Africa.  Also, The Awards will bring together 35 laureates under 35 years old together in Accra, Ghana from November 24th-26th to build a community of changemakers and inspire other young Africans. Further, The awards ceremony will take place from 24 to 25 November 2019, at the Swiss Spirit Hotel and Suites Alisa Accra in Ghana and their stay will include a leadership program where laureates who will meet high-level personalities. On the occasion of the ceremony, a super award of the Young African Personality of the Year will be chosen among the 35 laureates and will receive a cash prize.

Prize

• The African Young Personality of the Year will receive a cash prize and special media exposure.
• Also, all laureates receive a trophy, a certificate and a complimentary stay in Accra around a leadership/capacity building program.

Eligibility

• Open to young Africans under 35 from Africa or the African diaspora who have made outstanding achievements in their communities.
• Further, Among the 35 laureates, they designate during a ceremony in Accra the Young African Personality of the Year who has driven exceptional impact in Africa.

An international and independent jury of personalities is in charge of selecting the laureates, according to the following 3 criteria:

• Demonstrated leadership (20%)
• Innovative nature of work (30%)
• Positive impact (50%)
