Interested applicants are now welcome to apply for the Alliance Française de Nairobi Smartphone Film Competition 2019. The competition is open to all with the main objective of giving the Kenyan youth an opportunity to showcase their creativity also practice, especially the growing number of students of film, media and communication. The idea behind the competition is to push the boundaries of experimentation also imagination using minimal technical and financial input and to recognize and award talented youth.
Moreover, The Alliance Française de Nairobi is a French language and cultural centre. It was found in 1949. It is a locally registered not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees. Over the last sixty years, the Alliance Française has developed into one of the largest on the African continent with some 3000 students learning the French language annually. Further, It is part of a global network of Alliance Française in 135 countries around the world.
The winners will receive:
Open to all persons above 18, resident in Kenya;
Entries will be evaluate based on Storytelling, relevance to subject, cinematography, film editing, sound also music.
