The Commission

There will be 7 artists each from the UK and Bangladesh matched together to co-create new works. The matchmaking will happen after completing the selection process and will be based on aligning the topic of exploration for the commission.

Moreover, there will be a presentation of the resultant work digitally and across different cities in the UK and Bangladesh in the spring and summer of 2022.

The commission will be awarded to young/emerging artists as an opportunity for them to develop their skills and practice, to enable both a national and international platform for their work and to build connections with peers in both Bangladesh and the UK.
