Recipients will gain access to critical business development tools, expert mentorship, and strategic resources provided by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), a leading organization dedicated to advancing minority-owned businesses. In a commitment to inclusivity and ongoing support, the program also extends benefits beyond the grant recipients themselves—the top 40% of non-selected finalists will receive continued support through group coaching sessions, valuable guidance, and access to resources for obtaining Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification. This initiative ensures that even those not selected for the grant receive meaningful opportunities to grow and strengthen their business ventures.

Eligibility for BeyGOOD Salon

• Applicant should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed barber, hairstylist, or cosmetologist;
• Have a business in the Unites States;
• Demonstrated financial hardship;
• Proof of salon or barbershop business ownership or a lease agreement for a salon, suite, booth, or chair;
• In business for at least 1 year.
