The Diana Award is given out in Diana, Princess of Wales’ name to young role models from across the world who are selflessly transforming the lives of others. They are looking to recognize young people going above and beyond in their daily lives to create as well as sustain positive change.
Each Diana Award recipient from the UK will get an invitation to a local Award Ceremony.
Each recipient will be presented with a personalized Diana Award certificate and also celebrated with their peers. If they are unable to attend, the certificate will be sent to you by post.
Award recipients based outside of the UK will be celebrated virtually on International Youth Day
The UK-based Diana Award recipients are also presented with an invitation to Althorp House, Princess Diana’s childhood home.
All Award recipients will also get access to their Development Programme which aims to support Award recipients to further their social impact, alongside personal as well as professional development.
In addition, you will receive a resource pack via email to help you contact the local press and MP to shine a spotlight on your inspirational Diana Award recipient.
Moreover, your organization’s name will also be displayed in The Diana Award Roll of Honour and all of our press releases related to successful nominations for that year.

Nominators must know the young person in a professional capacity.
You will need to demonstrate how the young person has gone above and beyond their average peer and the social impact they have made in their community.
