Flour Mills (FMN) prize for Innovation 2024 (Up to N5,000,000)
2024 FMN Prize for Innovation initiative was established to encourage new ideas and innovations in the food and agro-allied sector in Nigeria and across the continent and how these can impact and enable a sustainable food system in Nigeria.
The 3rd season of the FMN – PFI will focus on discovering innovators within the food and agro-allied sector that are actively and innovatively driving the attainment of food self-sufficiency in Nigeria.

- Second Prize: NGN 200,000
- Third Prize: NGN 100,000

Eligibility for FMN prize for Innovation 2024
General Eligibility
- Open to residents of Nigeria aged 18 or over.
- Excludes employees of the organiser, their relatives, and anyone connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
- No Entry Fee: Free to enter; no purchase necessary.
- One Entry Per Person: Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
Category 1
- Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) that are registered in Nigeria and operate in the agro-processing and food production space.
- Your big idea and innovative solution must address the use of precision agriculture in boosting food production in Nigeria’s food and agro-allied sector.
- Your idea should have a solid proof-of-concept, a social or commercial purpose, and a clear roadmap to scale.
Category 2
- Nigerian Students (Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels)
- Your big idea and innovative solution must address the use of precision agriculture in boosting food production in Nigeria’s food and agro-allied sector.
- Your idea has a solid proof-of-concept and a social or commercial purpose.
