Applications are now open for the Jean Monnet Prize for European Integration 2019. The Jean Monnet Prize for European Integration aims at honouring Jean Monnet’s memory and life achievements. It does so by rewarding talented individuals or groups having contributed to supporting or strengthening European Integration through a project they designed and implemented.

Moreover, EuropeanConstitution.eu was founded on the belief that a common constitution was a cornerstone element for the realisation of a united Europe, founded on stable also lasting ground.

EuropeanConstitution.eu takes a broad view of European integration and believe it is as much about the people than about institutions. Further, Many projects can therefore be consider to contribute to European integration or promote the European spirit.

You create or facilitate exchange programmes within the EU? Apply! You contribute to language learning or cultural encounters? Apply! Your project promotes the discovery of European history or shared knowledge about European heritage? Apply! They believe that people’s imagination also creativity are endless; this is why they are opening wide the range of projects they can support. If your project relates to the EU, they want to hear about it!

• The winning project receives a €1,500 grant.

Eligibility

• Open to all individuals or groups—whether formally register as an organisation or institution or not and regardless of their citizenship—having develop and implement(or start to implement) a project supporting European integration, be it from a political, economic, social, cultural or other perspective;
• The project, or substantial parts of it, must have already set up or implement; Also, the Prize does not seek to reward a project in need of funding to initiate its implementation;
• Likewise, Applicants must be over 18. In case of a group, members of the group may be below 18, provided the individual in charge of and carrying out the application be over 18.
