Mama Cash Resilience Fund 2025 (up to €50,000)

Applications are now open for the Mama Cash Resilience Fund 2025, Mama Cash’s largest grantmaking programme, aimed at resourcing, supporting, and connecting the collective activism of women, girls, trans, and intersex people around the world. Courageous feminist activists in every corner of the globe are working together to build collective power, claim justice, and create sustainable, equitable ways of living. The fund prioritizes self-led, collectively organized feminist groups committed to transformative justice and advancing rights. Through long-term, flexible funding, the Resilience Fund strengthens grassroots movements and supports activists confronting oppression and inequality. This initiative ensures feminist movements have the resources and global solidarity needed to thrive, adapt, and grow, providing an opportunity for groups to access essential funding and continue driving systemic change for a more just and inclusive world.

The Resilience Fund supports feminist groups, collectives and initiatives that are founded, led, and/or run by people who belong to the communities whose rights they seek to advance. They are working to advance their own political and social agendas, to build connections across issues and borders, and to strengthen feminist and other social justice movements.

Grant of Mama Cash

• The grant amount is between €5,000 – €50,000 per year, average grant size €35,000.

Eligibility for Mama Cash

To be eligible for the Resilience Fund, groups and initiatives must:

• Work from a feminist, women’s, girls’, and trans and/or intersex people’s rights perspective;
• Be self-led by the women, girls, trans people and/or intersex people they work with;
• Have the promotion of women’s, girls’, trans people’s and/or intersex people’s human rights as their primary mission, and not just as the focus of part of their programmes;
• Push for structural and fundamental change; and,
• Focus on issues that are under-addressed and/or contested in their context.

Application

They are only accepting funding applications from the following regions this year: the Americas and Caribbean, Europe, Central Asia and North Asia.
