Details

Applications are now open for the photocrowd Perfect Portraits Contest 2019. A great portrait has the power to tell a story and captivate the viewer. Some of the most famous photos and painting in history are portraits. We are looking for candid and engaging portraits. Think about the story then you are trying to tell and pay attention to the background and surroundings. Environmental portraits are also acceptable. We want to see interesting faces that are focused and lit well.

Win amazing graphic tablets from XP-Pen in this contest, where the theme is simply… People. Photographing people is a challenge that all photographers have to face, at some point. Not only are they inherently unpredictable, but they can also be wary of having their photo taken or suddenly become forced and unnatural at the sight of a lens. Some photographers know the subjects they’re capturing while others shoot quickly and move on. Each method can produce strong results.
