Water is omnipresent and yet visually hidden while it flows through a dense network below the surface. Lack of interaction with water in such circumstances has to lead us to have no perception at all. The global water crisis is the lack of fresh water resources to meet water demand and is the largest global risks in terms of potential impact over the next decade. An immediate impact of Global water crisis was the onset of water conflicts among nations, states, communities. Are wars the kind of solution we are looking at? Further, will they resolve the impending crisis of water around the corner?

• Minimum eligible age for participation is 18 years.
• Further, There is no restriction on the degree or design disciplines to participate in the challenge.

• Also, There is no restriction on the number of members who can participate in a team.
• The challenge is open worldwide for anyone to participate.

How To Apply for the Global Water Solution Competition?

Applicants may apply for the Ripple competition online. To apply you have to deliver an architectural outcome on the following site, based on the given outlines.

A maximum 8 nos. – 5640px x 8640px sheet in portrait digital format (JPEG)

Also, you will require to answer 8 FAQ questions in the discussion section as given on the ‘additional resources folder’. This additional resources folder contains FAQ Questions, High Res maps, Sketchup Model of the site as well as CAD file of the site plan.

To create a complete submission for Global Water Solution Competition, the minimum requisites in the sheets:

• Site plan (Compulsory)
• Key conceptual sections x 1 (Minimum)
• 3D views x 4
• Cover image/Thumbnail of size 2000 x 1000 px or larger in aspect ratio 2:1.
• Floor plans, images, sketches (if any) can be added to support the entry in the form of additional images.
