International Student brings back the Student Travel Video Contest! The 2019 contest gives students six weeks to compile and enter their submissions. To enter this year’s contest, send your original video telling about how you’d use the prize money towards a trip you’d like to take or your proposed international studies. If you are currently studying outside of your home country, your video must describe any trip you would like to take. If you are not currently studying outside of your home country, your entry must describe your proposed study abroad. Be creative! Use titles that are unique to you and your video. Instead of including words like “Dream & Journey” in your title, use something more imaginative and characteristic of your video. This will help you stand out from the crowd and get noticed.

If you have a great story to tell but we’re not able to see what’s happening in your video, it won’t get the attention it may deserve. Record the best quality sound possible. Your video should tell a story and be made for this contest!

Winners of the Student Travel Video Contest

The International Student will select three winners of the Travel Video Contest who will each receive a cash reward. Further, GoAbroad will decide upon one winner as well as cash reward is available for the Viewer’s Choice winner.

• First Place Winner: USD 4,000;
• Second Place Winner: USD 500;
• Third Place Winner: USD 250;
• GoAbroad Choice Winner: USD 500;
• Viewers’ Choice Award Winner: USD 1,000.

Eligibility for the Student Travel Video Contest

In order to be eligible for the Travel Video Contest, the students must be:

• age 18 or older and already enrolled or planning to enroll in college or university outside of your home country.
• Further, the participants must create the video specifically for the current Travel Video Contest.
• The maximum length for your video is 4 minutes. There is no minimum length.
• In addition to the link to your video, each applicant must also submit a fully completed online entry form.

How to apply for the Student Travel Video Contest?

Students currently studying outside of the home country must describe, in the video, any trip they would like to take. While students currently in the home country must describe their proposed study abroad. The candidates must upload the video in a video sharing platform and provide the link to the video through the entry form.

Deadline

International Student will accept the application for the Travel Video Competition until 15 October 2019. Submissions after the deadline are ineligible for the competition.
