The Gravity Photo Contest 2022 is a side event of the Gravity Festival, the first urban arts festival serving the planet.

The topic of the contest is “the beauty of nature” in its broadest sense. Its purpose, as the underlying graffiti festival, is to raise awareness of the gravity of the ecological situation.

Prizes

1. The twenty finalist’s photographs will be exhibited at Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s Foundation GoodPlanet in Paris during the length of the festival.
2. The twenty finalist photographs will also receive a 10% discount on a Negative+ order in store.
3. Participants who will be willing to get their framed pictures back after the festival will be able to do it at no cost.
4. The first prize will also include a voucher for a mounted print on Dibond sized 50x70cm at Negatif+ store, a book by Stanley Leroux as well as a book by Jonk.
5. The second prize will also include a voucher for a mounted print on Dibond sized 40x60cm at Negatif+ store, a book by Stanley Leroux, and a book by Jonk.
6. The third prize will also include a voucher for a mounted print on Dibond sized 30x45cm at Negatif+ store, a book by Stanley Leroux, and a book by Jonk.
7. Moreover, all twenty finalists will receive a diploma.

Eligibility

• It is open to professional and non-professional photographers from all around the world.
• However, the festival’s organization team and Foundation GoodPlanet’s team are ineligible.

Theme

The topic of the Gravity Photo Contest is “the beauty of nature” in its broadest sense.

The presented photographs can either focus on the environment and its protection, the ecological situation but also on the animal or vegetal world, landscapes.

Moreover, the contest adds an important point, beauty alone does not make sense, a strong message must be associated with it. Furthermore, the equipment used is of no importance in the eyes of the jury, as is the professional or amateur aspect of the photographer.

Entry Fees and Payment

The registration fee is 10 euros. Registration for the competition will be validated once the rights have been received by the organizers. Registration fees are payable only via PayPal at [email protected].

They allow participation in the competition with a maximum of three (3) photographs.
