Rotary Club Nuenen in the Netherlands accepts submission for the Vincent Van Gogh Photo Award for the year 2021. Organized after the respectable painter, Van Gogh, the photo award aims to recognize and celebrate the best photography attempts within the theme of the Photo Contest of 2021. Moreover, the 2019 theme for the photography award is “faces for the world- through the eyes of Vincent Van Gogh.”

Furthermore, the competition is open for both professionals as well as students. Accordingly, the award will also be distributed to the winners in both categories.

What will the winners of Vincent Van Gogh Photo Award receive?

A jury of independent judges will select the best photograph that would deserve the Vincent Van Gogh Photo Award. Moreover, the judges will select the winners, three winners, from each category. The three winners from the professional category will receive cash awards that amount to:

  • First Prize: €1,000
  • Second Prize: €500
  • Third Prize: €250

The winners of the student category will also receive cash prizes that amount to:

  • First Prize: €500
  • Second Prize: €250
  • Third Prize: €125

Entering the Vincent Van Gogh Photo Competition

Participants of the Vincent Van Gogh Photo Contest may be a professional or a student. Further, they may be a citizen of any country. Additionally, the entrants may submit 3 photographs at most.

To enter the competition, photographers must make online registration. The online registration procedure will require the entrants to provide personal information as well as submit the photographs.

Further, to register, the entrants must pay the registration fee. The registration fee for professional categories begins with €10 for single entry, €15 for double entry and €20 for three entries. While that for student categories are €5 for single entry, €7 for double entry and €10 for three entries.

Additional Details 

  • During the fall of 2021, ALL WINNING ENTRIES will be exposed during AN OUTDOOR EXHIBITION in the center of the city of Nuenen – the Netherlands.
  • The approx. 50 winning entries will be located at strategic locations related to Vincent van Goghs period in Nuenen – the Netherlands, where he created most of his works.
  • Walking through the historic center of Nuenen, the visitor will step into the world of Van Gogh and enjoying the Photo Exhibition at the same time.
