Applications call for 4th HIV Research for Prevention Conference

Summary

It is the conference participation of researchers, community activists, civil society representatives and journalists, especially those from resource-limited countries and communities. Basically, in prioritizing the participation in the program of groups and individuals from these settings, the conference creates pathways for the direct dissemination of scientific knowledge and best practices from the conference to local programs and individuals in communities where it can be actively and effectively implemented.

Funding

The application process is entirely free. In addition to that, the conference offers full scholarships, as well as registration-only scholarships. The organizers will award scholarships depending upon the availability of funds and the process is highly competitive.

However, scholarship applicants can request one or more of the following grants:

  • Conference registration (includes access to all sessions)
  • Travel (pre-paid round trip, compliant to the Fly America Act)
  • Accommodation (check-in 10 October, check-out 15 or 16 October 2020).
