Alitheia IDF is a pioneering private equity fund that identifies, invests in. Also, grows SMEs led by gender-diverse teams to achieve solid financial returns and tangible social impact for communities in Africa. From our offices in Lagos and Johannesburg, we invest in six countries: Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Lesotho. We invest in sectors that engage a significant percentage of women, either as entrepreneurs, producers, distributors or consumers. Some of these sectors are Agribusiness, Consumer Goods, Health, Education, Creative Industries, and Financial and Business Services.

Central to Alitheia IDF’s investment strategy is the development of well-run, well-positioned, attractive businesses. Further,  where value is through gender diversity, good governance, and operational improvements.
They are the only private equity fund manager in Africa prioritizing growth stage companies which have gender diversified management teams with the vision and potential to scale regionally and also,  drive economic and social transformation. We invest to create superior returns by leveraging on women as successful business leaders.

  • Candidates who successfully complete the Bootcamp may receive up to $3M in fund investment.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for the Nzinga Scale-Up Bootcamp, companies must be operating in Ghana, Lesotho, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia or Zimbabwe
  • Companies must have significant participation of women as entrepreneurs, managers, producers, distributors or consumers.
  • The Bootcamp is open to applications from all sectors but is particularly in agribusiness, consumer goods, health, education, and financial services.
  • Additionally, interested companies must have a sound performance track record of at least two years and must be generating consistent and growing revenue

Application

  • Submitting the application is the first step in the application process, after which the screened applicants will be invited for an interview.
  • Following the interviews, applicants will be to join the Nzinga Scale-Up Bootcamp. Further,  candidates who successfully complete the Bootcamp may receive up to $3M in fund investment.
