Applications are now open for the 12th Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) Journalist’s Seminar 2019 in Madrid, Spain
Which are going to be held on December 13-14, 2019 in Madrid, Spain. ASEFJS12 is a side event of the 14th ASEM Foreign Ministers Meeting (ASEMFMM14).
Moreover, ASEFJS12 is a training-oriented Journalist’s Seminar event that offers young journalists from Asia and Europe. Which is the chance to come together to share their professional media experiences and perspectives from national and regional levels. Further, the event themed ‘Media Trust & Information in the Digital Age’, is aimed at providing young journalists with the tools needed to thrive in an uncertain media climate.
Additionally, The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) promotes understanding, strengthens relationships and facilitates cooperation among the people, institutions, and organizations of Asia and Europe. ASEF enhances dialogue, enables exchanges and encourages collaboration across the thematic areas. Further, of culture, education, governance, economy, sustainable development, public health, and media.
The proposed modules follow a structure that first establishes a common understanding of the nature and magnitude of threats to modern journalism, while carefully setting demarcations to keep within realistic boundaries. Expert views and innovative tools will be to show exemplary journalistic practices that serve as credible alternatives to that make it possible for media to be considered trustworthy.
Prior to the event, participants will be given the opportunity to propose to host a presentation of a project or initiative they have been involved in. Some presentations and participants will get the chance to share their initiative with others.
